Hello, my name is Vincent Cannatello, Pastor of WOCIC. My wife Laura and our four children left the New York area and arrived in Bradenton, Florida in August of 1997. Prior to this, I had a successful career in a prominent Wall St financial institution, founded a management consulting practice, and was the COO of a high-tech startup. But the Holy Spirit had very different plans for our family. Soon after we arrived in Florida, WOCIC was born … first we met at Haile Middle School, then at several other places until we found our home in East Bradenton at a location we simply call “The Meeting Place“. We are privileged to be part of an amazing family of believers who are genuine, love the Lord, and love people. |

As important as ‘beliefs’ are, it is often difficult to get to get to know someone until you get to know their heart and their passions. Our statement of beliefs tell you our values but we encourage you also to get to know the heart behind these values. WOCIC is a family of believers that have set their affection on our Lord, have submitted their heart and minds to the Holy Spirit, and have received affirmation by the love of the Father. We believe that our relationship with God and with each other is the foundation for our growth and maturity. As you read our beliefs, we hope you will also get to know who we are as a community of believers. You can read our beliefs here. |

Everything we do, we do with passion. We worship with passion … we teach with passion … we live for the Lord with passion. We believe the Holy Spirit has been given the church to help it mature and grow … as such, we give room for the gifts of the Holy Spirit to be manifested in our meetings and embrace the leading of the Holy Spirit to meet us as He wills. At our Sunday morning service, we provide children’s ministry for ages up through 11. We fully expect to see our children filled with the Holy Spirit, prophesying, laying hands on the sick and seeing them recover and much more. We also have an area for nursing mothers as well as several changing stations for infants. |

The dream that the Holy Spirit has nurtured in our hearts is to see believers mature in spirit, soul, and body; to grow in proportion to the head of the church – our Lord, Jesus Christ. So we have embarked on an amazing journey of passionately seeking His Kingdom, where the Holy Spirit continues to navigate us to new places of encounters with His presence and revelation of His Word. We are not about manufacturing worship experiences, entertaining people, performing for masses or building earthly kingdoms … we are about this journey, and being authentic every step of the way. If you are interested in joining us, please know that our doors are open and our arms extended. We eventually see the establishment of a training center designed to fully equip believers in core theology, empowerment, character, wellness and provision; and to position this center as an available asset to all believers, all over the world! The Financial Advisory Committee (FAC) has been formed to help ensure financial accountability at WOCIC. This committee is chaired by Pastor Vin with other seats held by members of WOCIC who do not hold staff positions. The main responsibilities of the FAC are to review church finances on an ongoing basis; to oversee church activities and commitments that will incur significant financial obligations; and to advise on certain financial topics and church projects. As a whole, the FAC provides WOCIC with a level of financial accountability that will help ensure that the use and management of church funds be conducted appropriately, decently and in order |
