A baby dedication is an opportunity for Christian parents to commit their child to the Lord and make a public promise to do everything within their power to raise the child in a godly way until he or she can make a decision on his or her own to follow Jesus. Parents who make this vow of commitment are instructed to raise the child in the ways of God. If you are interested in dedicating your child, please readPreparing for the Baby Dedication and complete this application … we will arrange for your dedication as soon as possible.
Water baptism is an initial and important step of obedience in the life of a Christian.   All believers should be water baptized. We water baptize believers on the first Saturday of every month (see calendar) at Manatee Public Beach.  If you want to be water baptized, please readPreparing for Water Baptismand complete this application … we will arrange for your baptism as soon as possible.
We are aware of the importance, sanctity and joy of your wedding and how meaningful a time it is to you, your family and your friends. Over the years we have found it helpful to develop guidelines that will help your wedding run smoothly. If you want WOCIC to perform your wedding ceremony, please read Preparing for your Wedding Day and complete this application … we will arrange for your wedding as soon as possible.
We want to tell you how sorry we are that someone close to you has died. This is a difficult time, and it is our hope that this information will be helpful to you. We know that planning the details of a funeral can be overwhelming, and we would like to assist you in any way we can. Since it is often the case that the death of a loved one is sudden and unexpected, we ask that you call the church immediately to discuss funeral plans.  A minister at WOCIC will preside over a funeral for a member of our church family or their immediate family members.  Our information is located on our Contact Us page. When you call, please provide the following information: your name and contact number; the name of the deceased; how they passed away; location of the funeral home; date and time of services; any special arrangements or circumstances regarding the deceased or the funeral service.
Our Children’s Church is for children through 11 years old.  We have a responsibility to encourage our children to walk in the footsteps of Jesus … and we carry that responsibility into our children’s ministry.  We fully expect to see our children filled with the Holy Spirit, prophesying, laying hands on the sick and seeing them recover and much more.  We are excited about this next generation of “Kingdom Builders”.
